Congratulations to Frank O’Rourke for 2nd place in a mixed 14′ catamaran fleet of 37 boats.
The YA yardstick for Arrows has been lowered by 0.5 to 88.5 and the Hobie 14 yardstick has been increased by 0.5 to 95.5.
Which now means that Arrows have to beat Hobie 14s by 7 mins on a 90 min course.
Hobie 14 Turbos have a yardstick of 90 and struggle to be competitive with Hobie 14s.
If the Hobie 14 yardstick was at 92 then there would have been 4 Arrows in the top 10 and maybe two more Maris as has been the case in previous Mannering Park 14′ regatttas.
Seven Arrows competed.
